This workshop, taught by Jarrod Lowery of Do Tank, will help you understand the difference between your user, buyer, and financer, and how to craft a compelling story about how your solution addresses each of their goals.

*This class is useful to companies in early and later stages of business development.

Attendees will be introduced to the mechanics of the Business Model Canvas, which holds the nine building blocks (aka chapters) of any business’s story. Attendees will work in groups & use the canvas as a framework to hold a conversation about a real-life company's current state. Each group will then "pitch" their canvas to the others in attendance, getting a taste of how the canvas functions as a storytelling tool.

Using the canvas helps entrepreneurs and founders find clarity on how the elements of their business model should fit together—how they can create, deliver, and capture value.

When used to its full potential, the Business Model Canvas helps companies align on their current state, ideate new paths forward, and design an impactful future.
