This interactive workshop will cover the basics of SBIR funding from who is eligible and what makes a good application, the types of agencies and phases of funding, and what resources are available to assist you in your application. Led by Roland Garton with over three decades of grant development experience, this workshop will prepare you with everything you need to know about SBIR funding. The instructor: Roland Garton
Roland Garton is President & Lead Consultant for Garton Consulting Services, Inc. and TheGrantHelpers.com. He has over three decades of experience with grant development, government contracting, program and project management, training and documentation, and program administration. Roland has written and advised on scores of SBIR proposals worth several million dollars to 9 of the 11 federal SBIR granting agencies. He is an SBIR workshop leader and national I-Corps participant, and has managed several projects resulting from successful SBIR proposals. In addition, he has set up book keeping and timekeeping systems for many SBIR recipients, prepared invoices and Incurred Cost Proposals, and has helped navigate multiple companies through federal audits, many of them conducted by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
