There will be a special emphasis on the new Air Force AFWERX SBIR program which allows startups to land future government contracts. With this program, proposals are awarded within 2-3 weeks and potential procurement contracts may follow. This is not only a direct path to non-dilutive grant funding but also a potential new revenue stream with quick response and evaluation cycles.
