As a Small Business Community Officer Johnny is responsible for educating and providing resources to small business in the Chicagoland area with an emphasis on multicultual and underserved areas.  Johnny also serves as the CDFI ambassador for Chicago where he connects small businesses to partners who further can assist clients with their business banking needs.

 

Johnny Wilbon started 22 years ago with Bank of America where he has held roles as a  Financial Center Manager,  Market Leader  for Chicago’s Downtown area and the New Hire Manager for the Chicago Metro Region. Before the Small Business Community Officer position; Johnny was the Small Business Banker in the Chicago West Market.

   

Johnny has been committed to associate mentorship and active community volunteerism through partnership with our company’s community channels. He currently serves as a member of the Black Professional Group (BPG) , Cook County Census Bureau, Chicago Racial Equity Committee as well as Board Chairman for the Greater Auburn Greasham Corporation and the Brookfield Zoo.  

 

On the personal side, Johnny played college football at Trinity International University majoring in business management.
