Frank Scopacasa

Head of Global Deployment Engineering at Verifone

I have 25 years of global supply chain experience at Motorola in engineering management, new production introduction, and design for manufacturing working on a variety of wireless and consumer electronics products. I have significant hands on expertise in designing, developing and deploying production test strategies and systems to optimize cost, quality, and time to market. I had the opportunity to spend 9 months embedded inside a Google [x] team in Mountain View CA helping them introduce new wearable products into high volume production. During the past few years at Keysight I've been able to engage with the start up ator communities in Boston and the Bay Area that are also focused on hardware development. I'm born, raised, educated, and still reside in the Chicago area. I'm thrilled to see a Chicago area incubator form with a mission to keep Chicago at the forefront of manufacturing and product development leadership.

Frank's core areas of focus are:

- Supply Chain Technical Operations – launching your product into mass production, optimizing production output/yield/manufacturing costs/out-going quality, and working with contract manufacturing partners

- Device Testing – functional testing of your device in early R&D, design validation, and manufacturing. Specific expertise in wireless testing, IoT eco-systems, and battery life optimization

- New Product introduction – navigating the NPI process from early prototypes thru design validation, pilots, and mass production
