I have been with MB Financial Bank since 1992, and have served in many different capacities over the years. I was the first graduate of the bank's Leadership Development Program, and began focusing my efforts on middle-market privately owned companies in 1999. Through my work with middle-market companies, I was introduced to the world of tax-exempt bond financing, and formally created the Bank's tax-exempt bond group in 2000. Currently, I manage a group of divisions that continue to focus on building relationships with mid-market companies in the Midwest, non-profit organizations in the Bank's geographic footprint, and all functions within specialized finance. These efforts include all tax-exempt financing, as well as New Market Tax Credits, and other agency supported debt vehicles. I am currently the Chairman of the Board for the IFF, which is a mission based lender focused on providing support to help strengthen non-profits. I am also the Chairman of the Executive Board of Citizen Schools Chicago, which focuses on extended learning programs in CPS middle schools. In addition, I am a member of both the Illinois Network of Charter Schools and the Council of Development Finance Agencies.
