R7 Teague Design Studio

Norman Teague is a Chicago based designer and educator focuses on design projects and pedagogy that address the complexity of urbanism and the history of communities.  Teague’s practice focuses on have includes community engagement, consumer products, fashion, public arts/sculpture, performances, installations work and retail space. He works with common, locally-sourced building materials, found objects to build objects and spaces that allow for attention to the need for educating less fortunate black and latinos communities with more of the design, marketing and entrepreneur processes and how those could transform the landscape of the communities.

Working with local artists, fabricators and handymen to think and create objects and spaces that explore simplicity, fun, honesty and cleverness as it relates to the culture of the client and their surroundings allowing activities within that space to determine the space.
